I am(aranth) makes snacks out of organic, locally-grown amaranth seeds. Their products are gluten-free, vegan, and best of all, great tasting. Hellen and her family grew up eating ALEGRIAS, a traditional Mexican amaranth-based bar. Amaranth has been a part of Mexican culture for centuries and is a superseed that dates back to the Aztecs, who believed it was a symbol of “enduring strength”. It is rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, while also providing a vegan source of protein. As I am(aranth) shows, it is extremely versatile in its uses. I am(aranth) is also dedicated to high-quality products. Most of their snacks are made by hand, and their amaranth is locally and organically grown. They grind all of their nut butters themselves, and naturally dry their chiles. Their vegan chocolate is made with organically-grown cacao, local almonds, and unrefined muscavado.
