How We Work
We started as a one man shop in 2015 and have since grown into an efficient team located across Georgia, Texas, and North Carolina. Our passion for this industry is as diverse as each team member. Some of us bring experiences from a lifetime in the food industry while others bring a wealth of perspectives from other industries. We are constantly innovating in refreshing ways by leveraging these outside perspectives and seeking out partners who do the same. A core theme to our story since day one has been the desire to build and serve differently as a team and as a company, improving every step along the way. We are excited to say that in our first five years we have done exactly that.
Within our myriad of experiences, we are ultimately bound together by a belief in business as a vehicle to impact lives and an opportunity to give back. Our name is Ambactus, or Latin for ambassador and servant. We are your ambassadors to our community of brands, retailers, and distributors and your servants as you navigate the complexity of growth in the food and beverage industries. In business and in life, we live adventurously as redeemed people, always striving to serve others and to challenge ourselves to keep business engaging, exciting, and just plain fun. What We Do
Everything we do is geared towards placing brands in regional and national retail stores. We partner with owners who need the backing of an entire team of professionals with expertise in sales, distribution, and growth strategies. Our ideal brand is one that is regionally distributed and planning to aggressively market themselves nationwide. Our sales engine is built to manage communications with category managers at a number of different retailers, thereby giving emerging brands a seat at the table of national coverage.
The end result we aim for is to not only grow a brand, but to also give more time and freedom to the owner. We partner closely with the owner to offload the operational burden of filling out submissions and setting up distributors, all while presenting their products to our retailer contacts. You hire us because you want to partner with an entire team of people at a fraction of the cost of hiring just one salesperson.

This industry is complex, which is why we strive to give clarity and freedom to our brands by managing their distributor relationships and offloading their operational sales duties. Preparing, presenting, and eventually receiving a yes from a retailer is only half the battle. Managing that process and then securing distribution, all while accurately filling out a mound of paperwork, is enough to drown anyone. This is why we have an entire team devoted to keeping you and your brand out of the clutter and headed in the right direction strategically.
